Latest Innovation and alternative to traditional Sandbags. Aqua-Sac bags are very popular, they offer easy storage capability and the opportunity for quick deployment as required. Several bags can be positioned to form an effective barrier at door entry points. Bags are overlaid on each other and built to the required height for protection. An effective barrier can be built in minutes without the major difficulties faced with traditional sandbags.
All you need to activate the Aqua-Sac is a bath or sink of fresh water or any other deep container and after a few minutes immersion, they puff up to the dimensions of a sandbag and stay like this whilst damp. The sacs can be re-used many times and easily disposed of with no environmental risk.
The picture below shows how effective an aquasac can be. In this test with one single bag placed across a bath the sac held back running water for the entire two hour test. Sacs should be laid on top of each other in the same patern as bricks in a wall overlapping each other as shown below.

MOBilarm Crewsafe System
Mobilarm Crewsafe® is a wireless safety network for marine employees which continuously monitors the location of personnel and generates an immediate alert in the event of an emergency such as man overboard. The network automatically detects if a worker goes overboard, moves out of range or manually activates a duress signal, initiating a system-wide alarm to alert all personnel within seconds of an incident occurring.
A series of wireless internal and external routers create a monitoring and reporting web on board the vessel or throughout the external areas of a facility, such as a loading jetty or wharf. The number of routers needed and their location depends on the size, layout and construction of the vessel or facility; all routers require mains power to operate but connect wirelessly to each other and the network.
The protection provided by the technology is based on a "fail-safe" principle, meaning that any break in the signal, for any reason, raises an alarm. If the Tag is damaged, if its battery dies or if a person moves out of range of the network, the alarm is raised to ensure that co-workers are immediately aware of an emergency, an operational fault with the system or that they have moved into an un-networked zone.
